On January 9th, 2013 Ivy Rae Bullard was born! She was 6 days overdue. I was feeling contractions for a few days but at about 3:30AM that Wednesday morning my water broke. Thankfully right before my water broke my mom arrived at our house to watch the boys. My contractions became stronger & closer so I asked her to come over just in case. We were admitted into the hospital a little after 4AM & I got my beloved epidural. Unfortunately after about an hour the epidural dose wasn't strong enough anymore & my contractions became painful again...this didn't happen with my other two labors so I talked to the nurses & they had my dose upped but it only helped for about 15 minutes till I was in a lot of pain again. Thankfully JJ was there to let me squeeze his hand & my sister Kellie was able to come & keep me distracted from some of the pain. At 9AM Ivy was ready to come so we waited for the doctor to come in and like my other labors it only took about 3 or 4 pushes! She was born at 9:30AM at 9lbs 3oz & 21 inches, BIG GIRL! Kellie took these pictures for us, I'm so glad she was able to be there for the birth. It was pretty painful but SO worth it, we are in love with our sweet little girl & can't get enough of her! She is still sleeping a ton & hardly ever cries. My recovery is going great, I feel really good & have so much more energy now! I gained much more then I wanted to this pregnancy but I'm feeling positive that I can get it all off this year. It has been a juggling act with three kids(3 under 3!) at home but it hasn't been too crazy yet since Ivy sleeps most the day still. I can't wait to see what this year will bring with our new family of five!
Our little girl is here now, but here are my maternity shot that I look through the past 9 months...
15 weeks
18 weeks
(I had a picture from week 26 on instagram but it was taken from my old phone & I can't find it in any of my files, sorry!)
30 weeks
Also week 30, I made this shirt to wear over my belly on Halloween
35 weeks
40 weeks!
This pregnancy was pretty much just like the others. The last couple months were a lot more uncomfortable though, my back was really sore all the time and my legs were so swollen! I am SO happy to not be pregnant anymore, I can move again and I get to hold my little girl!
This post is extremely late, but cut me some slack...I'm 7 months pregnant with two rambunctious boys to run after all day! Anyway, Parker turned 1 on September 5th and we had his party a couple weeks later at our home with all our family. It was a fiesta themed party! Thank you to all of our family and close friends who came to celebrate our sweet little Parker. This boy's smile melts my heart every single time he flashes it at me...which is pretty much every 10 seconds, he's such a happy boy! And can you handle that red hair?! This kid is growing up way to fast for me.
My festive nieces
Hugging the pinata. (It was over 90 degrees outside that day so we decided to have the kids hit the pinata inside)
Parker ate two cupcakes!
Easton pretty much stole all of Parkers gifts that weren't clothes, this is probably the only year he'll get away with it.
Cute girls!
Sorry about the billion pictures in this post! Just one more...
Thank you to my sister Kellie for taking and sending all these pictures to me! You're the best!
Oh and the cupcakes were made by Amanda Birkle from Dream Cakes, so yummy!
So If you haven't heard through the grape vine already I'm pregnant with our third child! We found out a couple months ago but things have been so busy I just haven't gotten around to officially announcing it on the world wide web. I'm nearly 15 weeks along, and just yesterday we found out that we will be having a girl! I'm thrilled to bring a girl into the mix, it will be a new experience but so much fun! I'm so excited to buy lots of girl clothes! We haven't thought of any names yet but I have a few that I like. My due date is January 3rd so I have some time to prepare thankfully. I'm starting to show a bit already but I'm not going to post a picture just yet because it just looks like I ate a big meal or something, haha.
The technician was so sure it was a girl that she told me I could start buying her clothes, yay! We look the boys into the ultrasound room with us and when we found out it was a girl Parker began to smile and clap, it was too adorable! Easton was looking kind of glum though(he was being shy and didn't know why I was laying on the table with goop on my stomach).
Parker Just turned 8 months old this last weekend. I can't believe how big he's getting. He has been discovering new sounds and started clapping his hands a couple weeks ago too, it's so cute! I love his red hair so much, I hope it doesn't fade! We love you Parker!!!
I love our little gated community, In the middle there is a big grassy park area where we take the kids all the time.Nearly every day Easton begs to go on a walk. The weather has been perfect for kite flying lately too! We can't wait to start using the pool this summer also, I just love California around this time of year!
Last month JJ and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary in Coronado, an Island in San Diego. It was my first time away from both my boys for a whole night. I missed my babies a ton but the time away was much needed. It was so nice to recharge and spend time with JJ without interruption. We had such a great time together! I can't wait to spend the rest of my eternity with the love of my life! I love you JJ!
